WB Trinamool Secondary Teachers’ Association felicitated retired teachers of Narasingha Vidyapith

Siliguri, 29th November: A farewell reception was given to two retired teachers of Narasingha Vidyapith on behalf of the West Bengal Trinamool Secondary Teachers’ Association, on Saturday.


   

It is to be noted that the school’s headmaster Amar Sarkar and assistant teacher Naresh Roy were active members and leaders of the West Bengal Trinamool Secondary Teachers Association.


Likewise, Kharibari’s meritorious student Swapna Munda was also felicitated during the programme. Swapna is currently studying MBBS in North Bengal Medical College and Hospital after obtaining good scores in the NEET exams.

Teachers from Shiv Mandir conferred Swapna with Rs 10,000, while NBU professor MN Roy gave Rs 5,000 and Bagdogra College Professor John Tirkey presented Swapna with a blanket. The members of the organization also assured to stay by Swapna’s side in the future.
