Rajganj, 09th August: A venomous snake that came to eat chicken got trapped in an iron net. On Monday night the snake made its way to enter a house in the Putimari Dangapara area, adjacent to Fulbari to gulp down the chicken in the house. The snake got trapped in the iron net while in the boundary wall.
Later, the owner of the house Shailene Roy saw the trapped snake at night and tried to save it. After which the information was given to the forest personnel but arrived late. The locals were compelled to risk their lives and had to cut the net. They rescued the serpent and left it in the nearby forest.
