Kharibari, 03rd January: US citizen Quillen Lachuman (58) was arrested in Kharibari before entering Nepal illegally.
Reportedly, Lachuman was trying to enter Nepal with the help of Indian youth identified as Sharad Rai. However, the SSB jawans successfully caught him near Pillar No. 93/3. Sharad Rai was also arrested on charges of helping him. The SSB jawans then handed the accused individuals over to Kharibari police. The duo was sent to Siliguri court today.
