Jalpaiguri, 17th November: Sensation prevailed after the body of an unidentified woman was recovered from Jalpaiguri’s Karala river.
Reportedly, the locals sighted a dead body floating under the Karala Bridge, this morning and reported the matter to the Kotwali Police. Upon receiving the news, the Kotwali Police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to the Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital for an autopsy.
Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
