Rajgaqnj, 10th September: An unidentified body of a person has been recovered from the Karatoya River in Rajganj. This morning, the local villagers found the dead body in the river of Bakhoyabari under Binnaguri of Rajganj block.
However, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained as of now. Shortly after discovering the body, the police were informed about the incident. On receiving the news, the police of Ambari Falakata outpost reached the spot and took the dead body into possession, and sent it for post-mortem. Police have started an investigation into the whole matter.
