Rajganj, 23rd August: A young woman tried to commit suicide by jumping into the Teesta Canal in Fulbari. Fortunately, the local youths came to her rescue and saved her from taking her own life. The incident took place last Monday night adjacent to Fulbari.
Reportedly, the woman, a resident of Srinagar Colony under Fulbari No. 01 Gram Panchayat jumped into the Teesta Canal after getting betrayed by her lover who cheated on her. After this, the local youths saw the girl flowing in the Teesta Canal of Fulbari Murder More area. After which the youths came to her rescue by getting into the Teesta Canal and recovered the girl and took her to a private hospital in Fulbari.
