Fulbari, 25th May: Two individuals were seriously injured in a collision between a bike and a cycle that occurred on Wednesday evening near Putimari, adjacent to Fulbari’s Canal Road. The cyclist, a resident of the Putimari area, was hit head-on by a speeding bike traveling from the Ambari direction while attempting to cross the road.
According to bystander, the cyclist was returning home from work when the bike collided with the cycle, leading to significant injuries for both parties. The injured victims were immediately transported to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
Upon receiving the news, cops from the New Jalpaiguri Police Station and Canal Road Traffic Out Post quickly reached the accident site. Police seized the bike involved in the collision and have initiated an investigation of the entire incident.
