Chakulia, 18th May: A tragic bus accident occurred on Saturday morning on the National Highway No. 31 in the Manora area under Chakulia police station, resulting in two fatalities and numerous injuries.
Local sources report that the bus was traveling from Kolkata to Siliguri when it lost control and overturned on National Highway 31 in the Manora area. Two people were killed on the spot, and many others sustained injuries.
Upon receiving the information, police from the Kanki Outpost of Chakulia police station promptly arrived at the scene, rescued the injured, and transported them to the hospital. The police are currently investigating the entire incident.
