Kharibari, 27th February: An incident of mishap took place on the national highway in Kharibari where two people suffered injuries after a collision between a pickup van and an e-rickshaw.
As per details gathered, the incident took place in the Dhakru More area adjacent to Panitanki of Kharibari. Reportedly, the passenger-laden e-rickshaw was en route to Batasi. During this, a pickup van travelling in the same direction accidentally lost control and hit the e-rickshaw in an attempt to overtake it. As a result, the e-rickshaw was severely damaged and the driver and a woman passenger sustained injuries.
Meanwhile, the locals arrived and transported the injured to the Batasi Hospital. Upon learning the news, the officials of the Panitanki Outpost arrived at the location and initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
