Siliguri, 12th March: NJP police arrested two people with stolen scooty. Reportedly, on March 10, a scooty was stolen from Bashundhara residence under NJP police station. After the incident, the owner of the scooty lodged a written complaint at the NJP police station.
Based on the complaint, the police recovered the stolen scooty from the Noukaghat area within 24 hours. The two accused have been identified as Manmoto Biswas and Surya Singh, both are said to be residents of Ambari and Baribhasha.
Several cases have been registered against the two in different police stations. Both were produced in Jalpaiguri court on Sunday.
