Siliguri, 25th March: In a recent development, the cops of Pradhan Nagar police station exposed illegal refilling activity of small domestic cylinders from large commercial gas cylinders. Significantly, the police have arrested two individuals in connection to the case. The arrested accused are Kundan Sha and Akash Barman.
Reportedly, the unauthorized activity was prevalent for a long time in New Colony area of Ward No. 47 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC). Acting on a tip off, the police of Pradhan Nagar police station launched an operation in a shop and arrested two accused on Sunday. Additionally, the police also seized 34 commercial and domestic gas cylinders from the shop. On Monday, the police presented both the accused before the Siliguri court.
