A day after Paschim Bardhaman District Chief of the Trinamool Congress Jitendra Tiwari resigned from the party on Thursday, his posters in Asansol were stripped down by party workers on Friday.
As per the report, the TMC workers tore posters and raised slogans against Tiwari in the city claiming that he betrayed Mamata Banerjee the party. They further accused Tiwari of deceiving the people of Asansol on the pretext of development.
