News Desk: Trinamool Congress (TMC) has released its Election Manifesto named ‘Didir Shapath’ on Wednesday. It is to be noted that the Lok Sabha elections is scheduled to commence from April 19.
Reportedly, former state Finance Minister Amit Mitra, current Finance Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya, and Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’ Brien released the manifesto through a press conference.
Significantly the manifesto mentions ten promises which include 100-day guaranteed employment to all job card holders, residences for all underprivileged families, 10 free LPG cylinder per year to underprivileged families, free 5 kg ration, MSP to farmers, increasing higher education scholarships for SC, ST and OBC students, increase in old age allowance and repeal CAA and NRC.
