Bagdogra, 04th February: The members of Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress (TMC) have organized a free health check-up camp and lunch for the workers of Tirhana Tea Estate located in Bagdogra, keeping in mind the health of the tea workers. Notably, the tea estate is closed for three months.
According to reports, on Sunday, the doctors have examined the workers for various diseases including their eyes, teeth and sugar level. In addition to the check-up, lunch was arranged for them in the afternoon.
In this regard, District President Papiya Ghosh stated that the Chief Minister is in support of the tea workers. She added that they have campaigned door to door, listened to the issues of the workers and had resolved them. Furthermore, several programs have taken place on the foundation day of the party.
