Malda, 21st August: Several questions are being raised after TMC leader Shehnaz Kadari allegedly celebrated her birthday by cutting a National Flag customized cake.
Jai Hind Bahini District President Krishna Das, Rotua Trinamool leader Sheikh Yasin, and many other leaders were also spotted cutting the cake. They have been accused of insulting the national flag and the incident reportedly created a stir in the entire district.
Despite this, no response has been received from their end. Meanwhile, Trinamool leader Babla Sarkar highly condemned the incident.
On the other hand, the BJP activists also strongly condemned and opposed the incident. BJP District Vice-President Ajay Ganguly stated that such an offense to our national flag can never be accepted. He further demanded strict punishment of the accused.
