Rajganj, 10th February: The members of Trinamool Congress (TMC) organized a public meeting at Subhash Pally in Rajganj to acknowledge the Chief Minister’s initiative in increasing the benefits of Lakshmir Bhandar. On Saturday, the meeting was held under the initiative of TMC Rajganj block.
According to reports, a public meeting was also organized at Fulbari More under the initiative of the Dabgram-Fulbari block Trinamool Congress Committee. Both the events witnessed active participation of thousands of supporters.
In this regard, block leaders stated that several announcements have been made in the state budget held on February 8 where in addition to the announcements; it was declared that every woman of the state would receive Rs 1000 instead of Rs 500. Also, the benefits for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities have been increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 1200. The initiative will benefit the underprivileged mothers and sisters of Bengal. They added that, hence, public meetings are being held in every block of the state to acknowledge the CM.
