TMC hits the streets against LPG price hike in Rajganj

Rajganj, 04th March: Once again the Trinamool Congress has launched an attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -led central government by hitting the streets to protest against the increase in the prices of LPG.


Under the leadership of Uttar Dinajpur District Women Trinamool Congress co-ordinator Pampa Sarkar, the party activists demonstrated against the fuel price hike in the Maharaja area of Raiganj block. They protested by lighting stoves on the street using firewoods, while the gas cylinders were turned upside down.

The protesters alleged that the prices of gas cylinders have drastically gone up, while the subsidy amount has declined. They further stated that the common people are suffering as the prices of essential items have increased due to the ongoing pandemic, and the recent fuel price hike adds more to their misery.
