Rajganj, 09th September: A theft was reported at Sardar Para BFP School under Kukurjan Gram Panchayat in Rajganj Block, with mid-day meal supplies, a gas cylinder, books and sports equipment of students allegedly stolen from the school premises.
The incident came to light on Wednesday morning when teachers arrived at the school and found the lock of the main room broken. Upon entering, they discovered that the cupboards used to store mid-day meal supplies had been opened, with several items missing. Books and sports equipment belonging to students were also allegedly stolen.
School Headmaster Nimai Paul said he noticed that the ring of the hasp-bolt securing the main room had been cut when he arrived at the school in the morning. Inside, the cupboards were found open, although other items in the room appeared to be undisturbed.
