Dooars, 31st December: The mutant coronavirus strain has already been detected in the body of a youth who recently returning to Kolkata from Britain.
His co-passengers who live in London and natives of Chunchura in Hooghly visited Rajabhatkhawa on Wednesday along with their four family members. The family stayed at the bungalow of the Forest Development Corporation in Rajabhatkhawa.
Meanwhile, as soon as the matter came to light on Thursday, the district health department became highly concerned. The bungalow premises have been sealed as a precautionary measure and the samples of the said persons have already been sent for testing.
