Kalchini, 03rd August: Eight-year-old Srijana Majumdar of Hamiltonganj under Kalchini Block has brought pride to the state and the family by winning silver and bronze medals in the International Karate Competition.
Reportedly, a total of 07 countries including India participated in the International Karate Competition held in Kolkata on July 30th. Class III student Srijana Majumdar performed well and won silver and bronze medals. The family of the little winner is very proud of their daughter for bringing pride to the state and the country. Happiness was also seen amongst the locals of Srijana’s hometown.
In this regard, Srijana’s father Nomit Majumdar said that he is proud of his daughter’s success at such a young age and is hopeful for her bright future. He hoped to see her bring a gold medal for the country soon.
