Social activist Ashok Biswas distributed ration and garments in an old-age home amid lockdown

Chopra, 17th May: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, Ashok Biswas, a social activist and a resident of the Bidhannagar area, handed over ration and garments to several poor people residing in an old-age home. Bidhannagar Welfare Association owner Bapan Das helped him in this regard.


As per the report, Biswas visited an old-age home in Chopra block Kalagach area under North Dinajpur district and distributed ration and new garments among several needy people.

Biswas stated that he adopted such an initiative after being inspired by the selfless work being carried out by social activist Kajal Ghosh for the past several days. He further added that it was a pleasure to help the needy in such a crisis.
