Siliguri, 02nd January: Murder of a youth hailing from Ganganagar area of Siliguri surfaced from the Baniapara area of Ambari-Falakata outpost of Siliguri Police Commissionerate.
Reportedly, on Friday evening, Harshit Aggarwal was roaming with his friend when some miscreants in Baniapara area stopped him and demanded money. When Harshit refused to give the money, the miscreants allegedly attacked him. After this, Harshit was taken to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital in a blood-soaked condition, where he died in the night.
A written complaint has been lodged in the police station on behalf of the deceased’s family regarding the incident. Based on the complaint, police have launched an investigation into the matter.
