Siliguri, 25th September: Yashpreet Kaur from Devidanga took the lone step to vent her anger against Centre’s new farm bill by going beyond all political parties. Belonging from a farmer’s family, she raised voice against the new farm bill.
Due to heavy rains across the city, several political rallies organized in this regard have been cancelled. Ignoring the weather conditions, Kaur took to the streets and staged a protest at Siliguri’s Sevoke More with a “STAND FOR FARMER” poster in her hand.
Yashpreet Kaur stated that the farmers have been staging dharnas in different places to oppose the bill. She further affirmed continuing with the movement in the coming days.
