Siliguri, 13th January: The16-year old batswoman Richa Ghosh, a resident of Subhas Pally, Siliguri, has been named in the 15-member Indian National Women’s Cricket team. The five-member National women’s selection committee rewarded the player for her consistent performances at the domestic level.
As a result, Richa has become a source of inspiration for other women sportspersons today.
Reportedly, Richa used to play at the local Baghajatin Athletic Club earlier and was seen practicing several times at the Siliguri College grounds. Today, many players practicing in Siliguri College grounds stated that Richa is their inspiration. And also want to earn a place in the World Cup team in the future.
