Siliguri, 05th August: Employee of Siliguri’s Head Post Office allegedly misbehaved with Siliguri’s MLA Shankar Ghosh while the latter was buying the national flag for the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at the post office.
It has been alleged that when the MLA reached the Head Post Office an employee at the counter refused to give the flag without any reason. This led to a confrontation between the two resulting in a dispute. The employees on the spot controlled the situation.
However, the MLA stated that he would report the incident to the designated department and further added to inform the MP regarding the matter.
