Siliguri Lockdown: Police use drones to monitor lockdown

Siliguri, 25th July: On the second day of Bengal’s ‘2-days a week’ lockdown, strict surveillance is being kept by the Siliguri Police Commissionerate since Saturday morning.

With the help of drones, the police monitored several areas such as Sevoke Road, Hashmi Chowk, and their surrounding areas to ensure that residents are not violating lockdown rules for COVID-19 prevention.

The footage is continuously being watched by the police officers to monitor the movement of citizens and vehicles. Strict action will be taken against the lockdown breachers.
