Siliguri Lions Club of Uttorayon Centennial donates in the PM Cares Fund and CM Relief Fund

Siliguri, 17th April: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, the Siliguri Lions Club of Uttorayon Centennial donated 11 thousand rupees each to the PM Cares Fund and West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund.


The club members handed over the cheques to the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb today at his residence at College Para, Siliguri. The club also handed over 20 high-quality PPE Kits (complete set with gloves, shoe cover, head cover, mask) and also 200 4-ply surgical masks to assist the professionals engaged in health care activities in this region.

The minister appreciated the selfless initiative led by President Lion Vivek Agarwal and assisted by Lion Rocky Singh-Secretary, Lion Rajiv Agarwal, Lion Navish Agarwal.


As per the members, the project was carried out under the expert guidance of club member and Project Chairman Lion Narayan Goenka, who arranged for the supply of PPE Kits and masks.
