Siliguri, 20th October: SFI organized the “Chor Dharo, Jail Bharo” program in Siliguri. The workers protested at Hashmi Chowk carrying the party flag. They laid down for about 20 minutes on the road and demonstrated.
The members of the organization alleged that efforts are being made to hand over the land of North Bengal University to private institutions illegally. Thus, strongly opposing to this they protested and also demanded that a transparent recruitment process must be started at the earliest.
