Naxalbari, 09th February: On Friday, Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh laid the foundation stone for the renovation and beautification of a Haat-Shade for the traders, under the initiative of Naxalbari Gram Panchayat.
The programme witnessed the presence of Naxalbari Panchayat Samiti Sabhapati Anand Ghosh, Naxalbari Gram Panchayat Pradhan Jayanti Kiro, Upa-Pradhan Biswajit Ghosh, members of Naxalbari Byabsayee Samiti and others.
According to reports, the work of the Haat-Shade would be completed at an estimated budget of 7 lakh 26 thousand rupees. In this regard, Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh stated that the work is being done keeping in mind the benefit of the businessmen. He added that in the upcoming days, various Haat-Shades will be renovated in the sub-division. Further, he stated that if the Haat-Shades are beautified, they can be utilized for business as well as events.
