Siliguri, 29th June: A road safety awareness programme was organised at Court More area in Siliguri by Sree Shanti Honda and Panitanki Traffic Guard.
The programme was attended by Traffic DCP Quazi Samsuddin Ahamed, other traffic police officials, and representatives of the organisation.
During the initiative, motorcycle riders without helmets were made aware of traffic rules and were also provided with free helmets. Participants were urged to wear helmets regularly for safe driving in the future.
Speaking on the initiative, General Manager of Sree Shanti Honda, Banibrata Nandi, said such social initiatives will continue in the future as well, and efforts will be made to spread more awareness about road safety among the public in collaboration with the police.
