Siliguri, 07th May: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, the Haider Para Buddha Mandir Committee distributed ration among 50 poor families on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima.
The nation-wide lockdown in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases has made a huge economical impact on the daily wagers and their families. Therefore, the committee members decided to celebrate Buddha Purnima in a unique way and stated that it was a pleasure to help the needy.
