Rajganj, 24th August: Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy assured the gang-rape-murder victim’s family that each and everyone involved behind the crime will be punished soon.
BJP State Vice-President Dipen Pramanik, on Sunday, visited the deceased’s house and alleged that although the family had lodged a written complaint at the police station against a Trinamool leader in connection with the brutal incident, the leader has not yet been arrested.
Later on Monday, Rajganj MLA and TMC Jalpaiguri District Chairman Khageshwar Roy met the mourning family. He stated that the police have been asked to punish the criminals regardless of which party they belong to.
