Siliguri, 13th September: A lot of enthusiasm and fervor is being witnessed regarding Durga Puja amongst the people in the city. The preparations are also going on in full swing. The city will witness a grand celebration after two years of the pandemic.
A Siliguri-based Jatiya Shakti Sangha and Matigara Mayadevi Club are building pandals according to the theme this time. But due to the rain for the last two-three days, the workers building the pandal are worried as they are not able to work properly. They are finding it difficult to work constructing the pandal amidst the unpredictable rain and weather. The incessant rains are preventing the laborers who are building the puja pandal from building the outer part.
