Prime Minister to visit Cooch Behar for high-voltage campaigning in April, preparations in full swing

Cooch Behar, 31st March: Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi is stated to arrive at Cooch Behar and conduct a high voltage election campaign on April 4 in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Nisith Pramanik for which preparations are in full swing by the District BJP.


Notably, the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 would be held in Cooch Behar on April 19. Significantly, veteran leaders and ministers are to visit Cooch Behar for electioneering in first week of April.

Reportedly, the PM will address an election rally at Raas Mela ground in Cooch Behar. On Sunday, the BJP’s State-in-Charge Mangal Pandey, District BJP President and MLA Sukumar Roy, MLA Nikhil Ranjan Dey, and other BJP leaders took stock of the campaigning site.
