Siliguri, 14th December: The Pradhan Nagar Police arrested two persons on charges of drug trafficking from SNT bus stand in Siliguri. The arrested accused have been identified as Asgar Ali and Arun Jha.
According to police sources, they received a tip-off that two men had reached the SNT bus stand to sell banned cough syrup and intoxicating tablets. A search operation was carried out and 20 bottles of banned cough syrup and intoxicating tablets were recovered from their possession. Police arrested the duo under the NDPS Act. They were produced in Siliguri court today.
