Siliguri, 09th February: The cops of Pradhan Nagar police station have solved the theft case that occurred in a Kali temple of a residence in Siliguri.
Earlier, on February 6, late at night, miscreants broke into a residence in the Saman Nagar area and fled with gold jewellery from the Kali temple. Subsequently, during the investigation, the police first arrested Vijay Mahato. Upon interrogating the arrested accused, a gold businessman Pradip Soni, who bought the stolen goods, was also arrested. Following this, both accused were produced in the Siliguri court and taken on remand for further interrogation.
On Friday, the police recovered the stolen gold jewellery from businessman Pradip Soni’s shop. Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation.
