Parents of candidates expressed displeasure over severe congestion outside Madhyamik Examination Center in Siliguri

Siliguri, 02nd February: On Friday, the Madhyamik Examination for the academic year 2023-24 commenced across the state. In alignment with the schedule, the examinees who arrived at the Examination Center of Netaji Girls’ High School in Siliguri had to face traffic congestion prompting the guardians to express their displeasure.


According to reports, this year as the exam time was scheduled ahead, the examinees began arriving at the center on time. However, the guardians alleged that despite the students reaching on time, the police failed to arrive at the examination center as per schedule. Consequently, there occurred huge traffic congestion in front of the center due to which the examinees had to face difficulties. Additionally, the guardians have also raised concerns regarding the security of the students.

Upon receiving the news, the traffic police of Siliguri Metropolitan Police arrived at Netaji Girls’ High School, and promptly the traffic jam in front of the examination center was removed. Subsequently, the police put up barricades in front of the center and halted the movement of the vehicles on the road.
