Naxalbari, 05th February: In a significant breakthrough, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel apprehended an individual with five cattle at the Indo-Nepal border in Naxalbari. The arrested accused has been identified as Karan Kumar Tamang, a resident of Kilaram Jote in Naxalbari.
According to reports, the SSB 8th battalion personnel of Nayabasti apprehended the accused along with the cattle while crossing the border. Subsequently, the accused was handed over to Naxalbari police station.
On Monday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri Divisional Court for further course of action.
