Siliguri, 21st October: Siliguri Metropolitan Police are taking continuous steps and actions toward stopping the sale of banned firecrackers in Siliguri.
Likewise, on Thursday, NJP Police seized a huge quantity of banned firecrackers by conducting a campaign in the market area of Ward no. 34. One person was arrested in the said incident. The accused have been identified as Sudhir Ranjan Chowdhary and was produced in Jalpaiguri court today. Police are probing the whole matter.
