Siliguri, 28th September: The police of Pradhan Nagar police station have arrested a youth with banned cough syrup. The arrested has been identified as Sayar Rokka. The police have seized more than 30 bottles of banned cough syrup from his possession.
Reportedly, the police of Pradhan Nagar police station went undercover after they received a tip-off about a youth who had come to sell ban cough syrup in the Regulated Market area. Acting on the information, the police of Pradhan Nagar police station launched a campaign and arrested the accused youth.
A case has been registered against the accused youth under the NDPS Act and has been presented in the Siliguri court today.
