Siliguri, 10th September: The Excise Department has arrested a person with a huge quantity of local liquor. The accused have been identified as Kalu Saibo who was allegedly carrying local liquor from Salugara last night.
The Excise Department obtained information through a tip-off, and after running a campaign they arrested the accused. The Excise Department has seized 40 litres of local liquor from his possession. The arrested accused was later handed over by the Excise Department team to the Bhakti Nagar police station for further action.
Today the accused has been produced by the Bhakti Nagar police station in Jalpaiguri court.
