Naxalbari, 21st January: Naxalbari police, based on a tip-off, campaigned in a stationery shop located in Bangaijote and seized a huge cache of drugs. Police also arrested a young man in connection to the incident.
According to the information, the police seized 10 kg of Doda drug, an opioid made from poppy husks, from the said shop. The estimated value of the drugs has not been disclosed. An investigation has been launched into the matter.
