Rajganj, 06th September: The Crime Intelligence Branch (CIB) of the Railway has arrested a person for illegally selling railway tickets. Today, CIB officials along with Railway Police and New Jalpaiguri Police raided a shop located at Fulbari Bypass More and arrested one for running an illicit business. The accused has been identified as Tanbir Alam, a resident of the Shantipara area of Fulbari. Apart from this, computers, printers, several ATM cards, several thousand rupees in cash, and some documents have been seized from the shop.
According to the locals, about a year ago Tanbir opened a tour and travel agency at Fulbari Bypass More and started selling rail, bus, and air tickets. The CIB received a complaint about his illicit business of illegally selling railway tickets for a long time. After this, the CIB officers raided for about an hour and arrested Tanbir Alam.
