One arrested along with firearms in Siliguri

Siliguri, 21st February: Based on a tip-off, the Pradhan Nagar Police launched a campaign and arrested a youth along with firearms. The arrested youth has been identified as SK Habib, a resident of Sikkim. On Thursday night, the Pradhan Nagar Police received information about youth trying to sell firearms. The undercover Pradhan Nagar Police launched a campaign in the Masjid More area near Circuit House and arrested the said youth. The Police recovered an automatic gun and 5 pieces of live cartridges from his possession. The accused has been presented at the Siliguri court, today. The Police are currently investigating the incident.
