Siliguri, 29th September: Om Prakash Mishra has taken over as the Vice-Chancellor of North Bengal University. Today he reached Siliguri from Kolkata and took charge of his position. The new Vice-Chancellor was welcomed by several officials and members of the department of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor said that from today he has resigned from his political post and has come to visit the university to complete his pending university work. He was given permission from the education department to become the vice-chancellor.
