Siliguri, 01st September: The North Bengal Industries Association has raised concerns over the obstruction of work and industrial processes by miscreants, prompting a series of complaints and a press conference held today at the Siliguri Journalist Club. Members of the organization voiced their grievances and called for swift action to address the issue.

The North Bengal Industries Association, which plays a pivotal role in the region’s industrial growth, has reported multiple instances of disruptions caused by unidentified troublemakers. In an effort to seek justice and restore normalcy, the organization has submitted formal written complaints to the state’s Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, as well as the local district police administration.

During the press conference today, the association members stated that yhe Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been actively encouraging industrialists to invest in the state of West Bengal to stimulate economic growth and development. Responding to her call, an industrialist from Assam recently established a factory in the Rajganj block area near Siliguri. Initially, operations were running smoothly, but recent actions by a group of miscreants have left the factory owner in a precarious situation.

Allegations have surfaced that the factory has been subjected to attacks and that the owner has received threats. This disturbing trend has not only jeopardized the safety of the factory and its employees but also raised concerns among other industrialists in the area.

In light of these challenges, members of the North Bengal Industries Association urgently appealed for a resolution to the problem. The association sought to create a secure and conducive environment for businesses in the region and uphold the Chief Minister’s vision for increased industrialization.
