Rajganj, 10th December: No trace of the person has been found who drowned while fishing in Mahananda River at Fulbari Barrage.
It is to recall, on Wednesday morning, Dilip Das, a resident of DS Colony in the NJP area of Siliguri, went fishing in the Mahananda river at Fulbari Barrage. At 4 pm, he accidentally drowned while crossing the river to reach a rock pile.
Upon receiving the news, his family members reached the spot to search for him. The disaster management team of Dabgram Armed Police Barracks is also conducting a search at the spot on Friday. However, no trace of him has been found yet.
