Siliguri, 17th September: Once again the toy train service has been suspended due to a landslide. The toy train service was resumed just a few days back but incessant rainfall and the terrain of hill areas caused a landslide making it impossible for the train to ply.
This morning, the track of a toy train between Rong Tong and Tindharia was hit by a landslide. Due to this, the NJP-Darjeeling toy train service had to be cancelled. According to DHR sources, the toy train may not run for a few days.
