Siliguri, 06th September: The alumni of the school have joined the movement in protest against the change in the color of the uniform of the students. Today, in regard to the protest, the alumni of New Jalpaiguri Railway Colony High School took out a rally with the students of the school.
The alumni also handed over a memorandum to the headmaster of the school. Akash Roy, an alumnus of the school, said that the school’s tradition is associated with the school uniform, and changing the color of the uniform will bring an end to the years-old tradition of the school.
At the same time, the school’s headmaster, Dr. Siddhartha Shankar Bose said that if the color of the school uniform is the same then it will be difficult to identify from the other school’s students. As a result, any untoward incident can happen in the school at any time.
