Mirik, 16th July: The Vyavasai Sangathan has decided to shut down the Mirik Bazaar for 03 days starting this Friday.
The decision comes after the test report of the wife, son and daughter of Mirik Bazaar’s trader, who tested positive for the virus a few days ago, also came back positive. However, the eldest son has tested negative for the virus.
Mirik Health Officer Dr Tashi Lama informed all three have been sent to the Hatighisa Quarantine Centre, while the trader is already undergoing treatment in Siliguri.
